Q1: What is GKP 2.0?

A1: GKP 2.0 is a one-off financial assistance amounting to RM3,000 to qualified Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to alleviate the financial burden of the business while increasing production and service productivity.

Q2: Who is eligible to apply for GKP 2.0?

A2: Those who meet the following eligibility requirements:

1. Not a previous GKP recipient; and

2. Applicants must have Malaysian citizenship status; and

3. Applicants running Small & Medium Companies micro as follows: i. Total annual sales or turnover is less than RM300,000; and ii. The number of full-time employees does not exceed 4 people, not including owners; and

4. Registered with the following agencies; i. Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) before or on 31 August 2020; or ii. Local Authorities (PBT) or Companies Commission Malaysia (SSM) before or on 31 August 2020; and

5. e. Still active in running the business while the application is being made.

Q3: How much is the amount of GKP 2.0 assistance?

A3: The total amount of GKP 2.0 assistance is RM3,000 one-off.

Q4: How to apply for GKP 2.0?

A4: Applications can be made online through the GKP Portal (https://gkp.hasil.gov.my) provided by LHDNM. Manual applications will not be accepted.

Q5: When does the GKP 2.0 application start?

A5: GKP 2.0 application is open from 1-31 October 2020 (1 month).

Q6: When will the results of the application be known?

A6: Applicants can check the results of the application from 15 November 2020.

Q7: I am registered with government agencies (for example SSM and Local Authorities) but not registered with LHDNM, am I eligible to apply for GKP 2.0?

A6: Eligible. Applicants must fill in the business registration details on the online application form when applying.

Q8: When will the GKP 2.0 payment date be made?

A8: Payment is expected to be made starting 25 November 2020.

Q9: How is the GKP 2.0 payment method implemented?

A9: Pembayaran akan dikreditkan ke akaun bank persendirian pemohon yang didaftarkan pada permohonan GKP 2.0. Akaun bank mestilah aktif.

Q10: Will the GKP 2.0 eligibility check be made with any Government Agency?

A10: Yes.
